Havaianas!!!

This Monday, Sydney, Sarah Jane, my mom, and I went to go shopping at some outdoor shops. There were lots of cool (expensive) places to look but then we found a havaianas! For those that might not know, that is the name a famous flip-flop shop in Brazil that has mountains of cheap flip flops. We all got a pair after looking for a long, long time! I love this place and it is so cool, so here are some pics. Enjoy :)
This is the entrance to the glorious flip flop heaven!!!!

As you can see, this in only a small section of the store where the flip flops are in color order (Sydney Heaven)!

This is me in front of the sign but there is a lady in the background...hmmmm

This man was putting a little charm button thing on my flip flop strap so that it was beautiful.

This is another picture from that same view as before...ahhh :)

This table may look like t-shirts but actually they are baskets and baskets full with shoes!!!! YAY!

YUM!

Saturday And Sunday we tried out some new things, at home and at restaurants. We went to this AMAZING steak-house place where they bring the meat on a stick and cut it for you. It was so good. Then on Sunday night, we tried out our pizza oven that is at our house and made delicious pizzas. I am loving food right now!
Sarah Jane walking to the pizza oven, with Benny accompanying her (probably looking for scraps)

THE PIZZA OVEN....yeah

We moved the table outside because it was nice and warm.

One confused dad, coming up. He didn't know I was taking the picture until, well, I did. :)
Here's Huddy enjoying some of his special pizza.

Here we are at the meat house after our meal, SJ was having trouble staying awake cause she was so stuffed!

Here you can see what I mean about them bringing the meat to us. Sydney is a bit excited...hehe :)

Just About Anything!

I haven't had much time for my blog recently so I thought that I should post some little things until I an get some of the photos I wanted. Enjoy! :)
Me and Huddy in his little bed in Texas, fun... :)

Sasha Kitten was sleeping so I thought that I would nag the one chance of her being still then. Its a good thing I did because she is so cute! :)

This is my favorite, SJ took most of these pics though.

I was running through some of my pictures and I found this one of Huddy. He was feeling a bit slap-happy right after his nap.

WOC Trip :)

This week, on Monday through Wednesday, I went with my grade to a camp an hour away. The trip was called WOC (World is Our Classroom). The trips main purpose was for the 8th graders and the 7th graders to grow a bond between them and create new friendships. You see, 7th grade is considered High School here in Brazil, so technically this is our frist year of high school. The school wants the 8th graders to be there to help us with anything we need. We did many team activities and I actually did meet lots of new people.  I thought that it was really fun and I can't wait to go next year.
This is Jessica. She is a friend that I have made here and that went on the WOC trip with me.

The pool at WOC was freezing! But is was refreshing when it got REALLY hot. (Left to RIght: Me, Jessica, and Lucia another friend)

When doing team activities, we were divided into groups and had to come up with group names and cheers.  Our group name was "Snap Daddy" I really had no say in it but, yeah...;)

This was a net/ climby wall thingy. (descriptive words ;) After we had our teams, we held something kinda like the "Amazing Race"  where one person on the team would have to complete a challenge, then pass the team's jersey to the next team-member.

The next day, we started to make rockets out of bottles. Here we are just decorating them but later during the trip, they have a special machine that they shoot the rockets from and ours went surprisingly high. Yay!

Here is Jessica and I (on the trip we spent lots of time together on the trip cause of same room, group, and we have lots of the same interests :) We were talking to Mrs.Cordell (math teacher) while watching others "attempt" to fish.

Here we are at the lake, right after swimming and are trying to warm ourselves.. ;)

This is all of the seventh grade that had come on the trip. There were at least 5 people not there. Its too bad they missed this year but next year they could come again.

Finally, on the last night, we roasted marsh mellows! I actually cooked 3, but one fell right as I brought it to my mouth, so I just ate 2... very disappointing (hehe)
